It's not the Labor party that got us into this mess. It was a combination of the Liberals and our central bank, the RBA. Had Labor been in government over the last 10 years it would have been them and the RBA. The common denominator here and in most other western countries is the central banks, all singing from the same song book. Their Keynesian MMT policies of print $trillions, give it to big business and the banks was always going to end badly. The end result had to be high inflation. They always knew this and they believe it is inflation that get them out of it because of the higher taxes from higher prices on everything. But they destroy the lives of countless families that have bought into this bullshit. And the crazy thing is, the government are going to leave them in charge. Get rid of the central banks I say, and bring back a genuine CPI calculation model that gets the interest rate level to where it should be.
