Everyone is presuming they are going to be plugging the bottom zone before moving up the well. I thought I read that the casing is 7 inches. If it is they can test upper zones and still run production tubing to the lower zone. On a 5 inch casing they need to plug.

Anyway I do know it is in no ones interest to have this entire production infrastructure in place and for the well to be off-line for any length of time not absolutely needed to do the perforations and tests. Time is literally money with this well so I think it will all happen very fast when it does.
