thing is, technical innovations can turn on a dime, unless you're right up there with the MANY developments being trialled in quick charge, long life, lightweight and other portable power sources, you really shouldn't be that confident of Lithium being the winner - it's way too early to tell even if the Japs are already invested to some small degree with Lithium batteries...
also, if the winner was Lithium, why wouldn't more interest be being shown in ADY's u-beaut Lithium resource... nah, I'll believe it when I see it...
