Absolutely - if the gold price rose, KCN would also, being highly leveraged to the gold price.
My personal view is that the USD is strengthening and so the gold price less likely to rise than fall.
Also responding to IceDoctor's post, noticed in Annual Report Note 28(c) that KCN has ~$50m debt to refinance this year, and $50m next year. Some is convertible and so can be repaid with issue of shares => dilution.
Yes, Challenger can be shutdown, but with a cost - to termninate contracts, terminate employees, place on care and maintenance, etc.
