Was it a week before the quarterly?

The only reference I could find to Macq was the 20mil shares they own as listed in the top20 shareholders.

Presumably they weren't in the last top20. So it happened sometime in between. We dont know when, why or how much they paid. But I assume on-market.

Was their any footnotes or explanatory notes that detailed the date(s) or purchase price?

Its all well and good to say Macq did alot of research before the purchase, and I suspect they did. But did they have access to info not available from asx ann?

Thats what angers people. Some people are better informed than others.

The general vibe of the 4c was positive IMO. It gave an impression that several projects will start delivering dollars similtaneously and soon.

Then you get the snow ball effect. Once a project starts earning it will continue to earn for several years. In the meantime you start getting more projects coming online and adding profit.

If a few of the negotiations crystalise before christmas as INT have indicated, then we could see a significant re-reating IMO.
