fair enuff joe.. like to take a punt at what u think is meant by change to revenue curve comment? bit too much for me to decipher.. cos there are hardware component cost and revenue plus usage fees really.. are they saying they adjusted billing cycle for usage? or they saying they adjust profit share also.. I cant tell from such a comment.
on da surface at first glance it says to me that u either slowed ur install rate, reduced ur usage profit share.. or adjusted its timing of billing, or are billing ur client later on for any combo of hardware and usage.. so bit ambiquous wen u add in their comment about revenue curve adjustments.. to anyone looking at it not in the know it kinda saying u have done less work on projects and collected less cash that quarter.
i know wot u mean about cashflow value. but i find them pretty good tool when compared over multiple periods to get a decent snapshot. A different angle than that of P&L or balance sheet. for me its an extra tool to see if things adding up. its limited i know with certain operational info. but it can support or fall in error of P&Ls or anns so i reckon its worth a look to see consistency or if a big wad of cash was banked that quarter or if someone emptied the bank etc.
i see ur calcs but im not sure i culd assume that much from those figure that u have done.
