Old article but this is what they should have spent their money on in the first place rather than pumping more money into an ageing plant and facility. Yes, the start-up costs of a plant such as this would be very high compared to just refurbishing existing equipment but the mined ore is only going to become more and more complex.
New MD wouldn't change things much but what management needs to do is come out and declare that commercial production wasn't achieved and they'll now forfeit their free shares. Secondly they have got to be straight up with investors rather than having to read between the lines and question why rain earlier in the year is going to affect June production even if the reason is the lack of available stockpiled mill feed. They jumped way too early into mining just so the directors could receive their bonuses for first gold pour and commercial production and need to now make things right, if they can.
