Nice to see Richards Coal price ticking up by 10%..whilst there is no direct relationship it is a useful proxy. To land coal from RB to Tanzania is the coal price (say US$70) plus shipping (US $20/$30/t) plus loading, cartage and import taxes (another +US$20-30). IEC coal price from stockpile at US$65-$70 is still competitive and customers have benefit of reliable supply. At US$65-70 - IEC is making margin of US$20/t. Reason why Chairman was so positive in March monthly note about generating free cashflow and paying down debt.
