you obviously dont live in the real world you. I hate to throw cliches around but this one is relevant for you:

"Money talks"

There is way too much at stake here for the likes of a few people who drink contaminated water & get sick to shut down the industry. Its a question of management & regulation ie. the industry will become more regulated & new fraccing liquids & proppants will continually advance with safer & better advances in fraccing.

You might have heard of the "Gun Lobby" in the States. Did Columbine make a difference to the political influence of this political party? No.
