Well put, IMO the dollar is crashing already. It's broken key support. It was 84.0 a few weeks ago, today plunged another 0.5 to under 79.0 It's sayonara under 78.5/78.0
As a PM investor, while I do want it weaker, I don't want a repeat of 1987 when USD and US bonds had a sudden loss of investor confidence and we all know or should know what happened. I'd far rather the AUD tanked. It's not just miners, it's most of our economy that's stuffed because of it. IMO we're going to have another crash anyway, probably before the year is out. Should go a bit higher in stocks for a few weeks/months first. Cheers
