Completely agree, the amateur / prosumer market is much larger than the elite market, and the competitive advantage for CAT's trackers is that they've been collecting data from elite athletes for years which adds a whole new dimension rather than just being another fitness tracker. I don't actually mind the price point - GBP 199 is a fair bit cheaper than the USD 500 that Whoop Straps are retailing at, and as you pointed out can only come down as they gain economies of scale.
