First half of the program was on vaccinations for disease in general (like hooping cough) and why they are important for "herd" protection.

This second half of the show was really all about the Influenza Pandemic to come, without focusing on the treatment - pity. The show did get a bit lost because of the fact that they started off by saying how important vaccinations were for certain diseases, but when it came to influenza pandemics, the same vaccine argument was shot down in flames because it will take at least 6 months for a vaccine to be developed, by which time, its too late. So the answer was that antivirals were the best solution and that third world wasn't protected (which we all here know). They mentioned "Relenza and Tamiflu" and showed a pack of Tamiflu, but that was it.
