Seriously you can do better than "well those at the meeting were told" for a proposed scientific guy you grab hold of and quote no less, out of context second hand information and treat it as fact. Sounds a lot like kids when they fire back with " they told me too". I'm going to join you out on that limb but my prediction is much simpler. I'll say you will be manipulating whatever they say for your own purposes whatever they might be.
