Just wanted to add on the good article done by "A rich life" in Sept 22, where they discussed into details the 2 main competitors of Catapult : Hudl (mainly video) and STATSport (focused on wearable devices).
Started in 2006, Hudl has also a SAAS model, focused on video. Unlike Catapult's focus on elite teams, Hudl has extented into high schools (98 % of US high schools) and clubs, which now represent the largest part of their customer basis. So, according to the last figures I could find, 160,000 teams are using Hudl, while Catapult has a Pro team customer base of 3,217. As Catapult is expanding into the video area, no surprise to see Hudl entering the wearable device market, apparently in 2022 via WIMU.
