Sane people can see the hand of God in events, other sane people do not. It all depends on whether you believe there is a loving God who answers prayers. How He answers them can escape us sometimes. For myself I believe in the promptings of the Spirit (that little something inside that we can experience) who guides one to be present when needed to answer a prayer or to protect. I also believe in Guardian Angels and, believe me, there have been many occasions only a Guardian Angel could have saved me from my stupidity as a child in particular.
