I doubt if Cate Blanchett and the other people were paid.

I will repeat what I have said before. Moby T and others still don't get it and never will.

Cate Blanchett is one of a very privileged elite. She does many good works and is a great actress. Her work means the production of many carbon emissions. Maybe she offsets them all but we don't know.

HOWEVER I believe the producers of the ad have made a mistake by thinking that she will convince the average Australian to say yes, despite her good works, talents and loveliness. And what they are supposed to say yes to, is as yet unknown.

The government will unleash a huge tax payer funded campaign shortly, I believe.
