I found some April figures relating to %Fe and pricing.

    63% $170/t
    62% $156/t
    59% $133-137/t (average $135/t)

Higher impurities will further discount pricing but at $35/t additional revenue I see plenty of reasons to further refine the ore. I'm pretty sure Lump is also prefered over fines as you loose less poring it down the furnace so Bungaroo South I think was quoted as having a high "Lump" portion. Very desirable

I also found a July 2011 UBS report refering to "global iron ore prices to double in following years" and giving reasons why.

There's also plenty or reports heavily discounting imerging nations trying to bring iron ore on stream.

I believe the pilbara and Iron ore will provide very good returns for patient investors over more than the next 3 years.

Having said that, I might make a large strong coffee and look the other way when the market opens today.

    Rugby was good ..eh?
