In their last market update, OEC made special mention of high pressure direct fuel injection technology. (sort of competition to OEC ). High pressure is used to break up the fuel, similiar to the way diesel works. OEC is different by compressing the air first.
It is most interesting that Caterpillar (diesel) has filed patients. Does not make sense unless OCP really has sometime special to offer diesel technology.
OEC management are so conserative now, they could be up to anything, but want to be sure before advising the market.
