"Church run organizations and others did pressure unborn mothers to give up their babies for adoption " . I beg to differ. The church run organisation ( hospital) I worked for at the time of discussion had pregnat girls/parents of pregnant girls knocking on the door for help to save them embarressment in the community. We are all the community. Nobody is exempt.

Churches didn't go around asking for families to " bring out your pregnant girls "

So many lies abound on this topic. The church helped people in distress. Their heart was always to help both mother and child. It is far from ideal as a child needs a mother and father as I have expressed in previous posts.
