I checked and the S&P/ASX200 Accumulation Index returned 13.67% per annum for the 3 year period ending 29/02/2012, so the Catholic Super - Australian Shares option with a return of 17.74% per annum has outperformed the index.
However, the Catholic Super website does not state where the funds are invested, for example, how much exposure is there to small companies?
