    Its not a problem with their religion.

    Its not even a problem with their party.

    Its a problem with the corrupt way that the taxpayers money is being fraudulent directed into paying for the entertainment of a private group.

    In the US, a far more religious society than Australia, they can't even put up decorations if there is any public cost or public property involved. Not so in Australia.

    The various "experts" who have supposedly determined that this "event" will boost the economy have been noted, and they can expect to have their competence and credibility impugned for a long time to come.
