I know exactly where you are coming from and I think I understand it very well. I take the view that there is no perfect denomination but that doesn't mean we reject all of them. Yes, some we do such as the cults as they are too extreme but not the mainstream ones just because they have done bad things in the past, still today and don't it all Biblically true. That's why some are non-denominational and so form their own groups but how is that any different? It's still made up of imperfect humans pretending they formed a perfect group, which of course can't be true.

As I explained before there is only one real church and that's the ekklesia/ecclesia as used in the Greek. I'm Greek and speak the language and I know what it means (and how to pronounce which is not the way most people do it but that's not important). Among Greeks, it typically refers to the people gathering together. During ancient Greece, the ekklesia of ancient Athens was a popular assembly of only male citizens. In terms of the Bible teachings, it means an assembly of fellow Christians. Some use a slightly different interpretation and say it's the "called out assembly" or "called out ones" but it's the same intended meaning.

So, even among the Roman Catholic church I am sure there are some true believers in our Lord and Saviour, in the faith and are saved. I normally don't worry about many of the traditions. which to me are not important as they are not Biblical but they are to those who do happily partake in them. It's their choice and I do sincerely respect that. It's how I have come to be pleased to be among other true believers in the faith in the church I attend; a Greek Orthodox Church. So, please don't start blasting me on that LOL. As I explained I don't follow most of their traditions but I do find it a very spiritual church to my liking. Each to their own. And no, I haven't confessed to our priest because I don't believe in it - I confess directly to God. For those who confess to the priest, that's their business, not mine.
