I agree with you on this... I would like to emphasise how important it is also..

The Relationship Between Faith, Works, and Salvation

The doctrine of salvation is central to the faith, and the interplay between faith and works is a vital topic that has sparked much debate. While some argue that salvation is achieved solely through faith, Scripture reveals that both faith and works are necessary components. Lets explore the idea that faith is not merely intellectual belief but an active expression and action of one’s belief.
    Faith as an Active Expression

Faith, according to the Apostle James, is demonstrated through actions. He writes, “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him?” (James 2:14, TLV). Genuine faith must manifest itself through works. James further illustrates this with the example of Abraham, whose faith was completed by his willingness to obey God (James 2:22). Yeshua reinforces this in Matthew 7:21, stating, “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven” (TLV). Here, Yeshua emphasizes that faith must result in obedience, highlighting that true faith compels action.
The Role of Works in Salvation

While salvation is a gift from God, works play a crucial role in the believer's life. Ephesians 2:8-10 declares, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yeshua for good works, which God prepared beforehand so we might walk in them” (TLV). While works do not earn salvation, they are the natural outcome of a transformed life. The Apostle Paul adds in Romans 2:6-8 that God will repay each according to their works, indicating that works are significant in the judgment process.
The Interconnectedness of Faith and Works

Faith and works are not in opposition but complement one another. In Galatians 5:6, Paul states, “For in Messiah Yeshua neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything, but only faith working through love” (TLV). This encapsulates the essence of a believer's life: faith must be active, manifesting itself through love and good deeds. Yeshua's parable of the sheep and goats (Matthew 25:31-46) further illustrates this point, as He separates the righteous based on their actions toward the needy, affirming that their deeds reflect their faith.
    Conclusion

In summary, both faith and works are essential to salvation. True faith is an active expression that results in good works, demonstrating the transformative power of the Gospel in our lives. Believers are called not only to believe in Yeshua but also to embody their faith through love and service. Recognizing the vital connection between faith and works is essential for a holistic understanding of salvation that honors God and reflects biblical truth.
