Comical u don't see how this works yet.
VW's cash-backed demands for giga-factories will be met, just not with Magnis.
After all, a year on from ur article, now spending US$48 Billion with CATL, LG Chem & Samsung SDI . Equally, news of BMW's billion dollar contract for NMC cells directly supports CATL's German giga-factory. The link between cash and construction is pretty clear.
Though VW also have history of partnering with promising future battery tech.
Last week pushed US$100M into furthering their partnership with QuantumScape.

So zero investment in bone battery adventures from VW or any other major auto for that matter is a ringing dis-endorsement.
Hard to forget how "in talks with Volkswagen" thread was based on cobalt-free Magnis mania.
And laughable how ur DRC child labour concerns now magically morphed into spruiking for an unlisted DRC cobalt play. Apparently it "doesn't get any better" than Magnis spin off's interests in the Congo.
Guess cobalt needed for all those giga-factories eh?
What a joke.
