reminds me of peter garrett addressing the sheep farmers federation, and the discussion about dingo controls

peter garrett stood up in front of hundreds of farmers
and suggested they catch the dingoes, then castrate them, then release them.....problem solved

until one old farmer explained to him
"the dingoes were not having sex with the sheep
they were bloody well eating the sheep"

garrett and his handful of minders, plus the forestry commission, plus the greens, turned red, amidst the uproar and laughter from the farmers

and 'sheepishly' left the meeting

(what sort of a brain thinks like that, ie having sex with a sheep, his minders and the greens thought it was a great idea? what on earth passes through their minds ?)
