Likely 2013 Caulfield Cup field

The Peter Moody-trained My Quest For Peace is expected to take the final place in Saturday's Group I Caulfield Cup (2400m) at Caulfield.
The final make-up of the field for the $2.5 million handicap will become official on Tuesday morning when final acceptances are declared at 10am. Final jockeys must be declared by trainers at midday.

Racenet has compiled what we believe will be the field when final acceptances are taken.

Top Sydney trainer Chris Waller has confirmed Foreteller (exempt from ballot) will not be an acceptor while Racing Victoria stewards issued a release on Monday confirming owner Lloyd Williams will not accept with Sea Moon (exempt from ballot), Green Moon (5th), Mourayan and Seville (both equal 9th), Masked Marvel (equal 13th) and Tanby (equal 18th).

Flemington trainer Mark Kavanagh has also decided the bypass the race with Super Cool (equal 6th) and Irish galloper Simenon (equal 18th) won't be an acceptor after placing in last Saturday's Herbert Power Stakes.

With the expected non-acceptors, the weights will rise by 1.5kg meaning the Peter Moody-trained Manighar will carry the 58kg topweight.

International raider Forgotten Voice and the Gai Waterhouse-trained Julienas are both equal 28th in the order of entry and appear likely to be the first and second emergencies.
