It's years ago I had a dog, well we had four at the time in fact, Maltese terriers they were, 2 each from successive litters. It wasn't planned that way. Two of them first went to our oldest daughter but she found she couldn't look after them with her shift patterns. To cut to the chase (muso speak), her son/our grandson was studying art at the time and unknown to me he was painting a picture of the dog for my birthday. When I saw it I was just blown away, it was so lifelike. And he gave up that talent for technology study! Anyway, as I said, it's been hanging in a corner for many years and after a while you just don't notice things anymore, except I did a while ago and it brought back the memories again as If I'd seen it for the first time. Funny little dog, each one of them had a different personality.
