    I can't blame Newitt in any way. He positioned the horse well. He would have expected EBB to kick on, thereby releasing him, but alas EBB compounded as did the others in front of him.

    CN has ridden a horse for me on a few occasions, and he sometimes rides for a bit of luck. This got our horse home all along the rails a few months ago at Geelong. Actually CN rode him for 2 wins in a row, but he took a wrong option in a couple of other races and lost. Jockeys have to make split decisions many a time. Can't blame them most of the time.
