    Bears have had their day or days now for rising sentiment. Whichever bearish punters thought bond yields were a good substitute 4 equities with a good dividend yield (as useless as most dividends r, would you not want them reinvested in the company that produced them?) believe any drivel that the brokers write or email to them IMHO but pls DYOR. TLS SP will now march to $7 based on growth prospects, yield, lack of competition and mobile/ broadband increased usage, SPK is already seeing such growth and should march to mid $3 say $3.60, look at their recent broadband and telephony comments in industry magazines.

    VZ's TO bid of AOL should bring Telcos a global re-rating and that is good for NZ where VOD must be seeing its days numbered. And regulators r slowly being brought back into line by the big players although arguably it is a bit of a SPK/CNU stitch up that mainly kills off VOD's profitability in a far flung market, see Simon Moutter's comments below:
