Rare earth scarcity hasn't given up the spotlight since. In the middle of all this angst about rare earth shortage and the world coming to an end, Lynas announced first heavy rare earth production in May. Lyc never closed below 7aud since April despite acting like a yoyo every time there is a ray of hope China will relent or despair that it won't. Why the 'sudden' spike in share price? Go figure.
