IMO, Lynas share price fluctuation has little to do with fundamentals and more to do with emotions and the creation of artificial supply by shorters for whom, Lynas has been a cash cow. Squeeze the teat and get milk until it's dry then release and go again. Price rises on 'good news' for a variety of reasons with short covering and FOMO being primary drivers. When buying reaches a technical exhaustion point, artificial supply is once again released causing price to fall. Rinse, lather, repeat. It has been very profitable and will continue until it's not.
Fundamentals are exceptional for Lynas and not only because of Amanda leading an amazing team. No one else is in such a good position with IP, actual mining and processing in place. You know what ? It's growing at an amazing pace for such a tiny startup. Lynas, IMO, is a growth stock with the potential to become another BHP or Rio Tinto. There will always be nay-sayers talking their book to create fear and why not, it's made them money. IMO, what shareholders need to focus on is the proven track record of Amanda and her team to overcome every obstacle placed in their path and emerge stronger than ever.
China playing political games with their REE dominance is why Japanese investors stood their ground thru thick and thin to obtain a reliable supply immune to China's games. Does anyone think the US defense industry is willing to bow to China and lay at their feet ? IMO, it's more likely they'll want to preserve a major source of income and the significant export value of US weapons. Add in the need for a strong military and, IMO, they'll play ball with the only team in a position to bring product to market relatively fast.If investors simply do not sell their shares then the bulk of the money that changes hands will be among the shorters and a few weak hands.
Believe in Armada and her team, hang in there with the understanding of what's to come. We ain't seen nothing yet !
