I get 5% moves in a week. Sometimes I fluke it and get 3-4% moves in a day. You buy large parcels. The profits are in the thousands and tens of thousands. Annualised is ridiculous. You do what you do and I can do what I do. I dividend strip as well. Waiting for a $17.6k div cheque from NHC I think on Thursday. I was just stating that coal stocks long term is not the way due to its highly volatile cyclical nature. Its worked for me now for around 18 months. I’ve dividend stripped NHC and WHC. I certainly won’t be going into WHC anytime soon. Coking coal is dragging them down for now and for sometime unless China comes out with infrastructure spend but they have a debt bubble. Not sure if WHC will be able to pay sizeable dividends from thermal operations regardless of the $1.6m injection early next year. They will only get 70% from there on. Until we get China growth and they start cranking up imports coking coal is in the doldrums. They have so much of their own coking coal that they are exporting it.
