It all depends on time horizons. So hats off to the shorters, they picked the interim high. I can't pick interim lows or highs with any consistency, so I don't compete with traders trying to pick these.
My time horizon is not measured in days, weeks or months. It is measured in years. I don't care whether the share price drops a little more or a little less, while the futures for this commodity remain high enough. If the share price stays low and the commodity price stays high, I know what I'll be hoping for: more time to buy more, either from dividends received or from buybacks.
