I would guess that the ones most willing to resort to the most extreme and disproportionate violence the quickest will prevail in this little episode.
That is not good, but I find it hard to see it turning out any other way as this is such an easy and obvious situation for the rent-a-riot crowd in iran and syria to take advantage of.
