Nothing out of Garowe Online relating to Puntland and Range Resource is balanced, minority self interest, generally written by the same person who has dubious journalistic aptitude....and living nowhere near Puntland. Their stance is pro southern Somalia aligned to the recently ousted TFG Somali Prime Minister Ali Mohammed Gedi. Puntland in the north, in the horn of Africa, is an isolated semi autonomous state of Somalia, has stable democratic political system. The southern power base of Somalia are scared that Puntland will become the power base for the rest of the country. The Puntland government beyond passing the resource law, which provides investors stability, is also developing their export and tourism industries. For Puntland's people, I really hope the fruits of there labor will improve their living standards.
