DJ -0.04%, SP500 -0.01% Nasdaq +0.03%, NYA -0.06%, Russell2000 +0.19%. A session of narrow range, choppy trade with the final result – the market going nowhere.
XLF (Financials) -0.32%.
SP500:
The long-term uptrend remains in place. Indicators are strong but not too strong, so there’s room for more upside.
Commodities:
DBC -0.34%. Energy -0.69% Industrial Metals +0.49%. Copper Producers ETF was +2.62%. Gold 0.45%.
Our market was a little weaker yesterday -0.17%. We can expect more turgid trading again today. Probably good for the day traders, but the rest of us will remain on the sidelines. The Copper Producers ETF suggests our miners will do well today. Probably the banks won't cooperate. They have a bigger influence than the miners, so we'll probably finish weaker.
