The statisics of success assumes pushing the argumentative boundaries. I agree a win is a win, even if you don't get everything you ask for.
And then there is what's caled an ambit claim.
But in this case its winner takes all. It is the prie or nothing. Winning the arguements point by point is subject to the probabilities of statistics. While the decision will be either yes, or no.
I'm yet to understand the argument that there could be an out of court settlement. 50:50 or whatever. Even if CAZ shareholders would be happy with 50% of a vast fortune.
Under the iron ore there might be gold. And under the gold there might be uranium. And under the uranium, well of course, an oil well.
In which case taking just 50% of the iron ore would be a mistake.
But then it is the silly season.
And seeing it is now Xmas day, I hope you all have somewhere to go and get stuffed.
