Success in investing is about seeing your hard work and sacrifices pay off, being in a position to invest in shares and property and seeing that effort generate a return. That’s the whole point of investing, nobody goes in hoping to lose money.
The only people cheering for a price drop are those who don’t own shares or have bet against the stock.
The rest of us want to see ongoing success because when companies like CBA do well, it rewards everyday Australians who’ve worked hard and invested wisely.
CBA is also widely held in superannuation funds, I don’t want to see my parents’ retirement savings or my own nest egg go backwards.
