Everything possible will be done to prevent this bubble from bursting - everything. All the bandaids, relaxing lending standards at banks, waiving 12month interest periods, rate cuts, not building new housing supply quick enough (on purpose), subsidising basic services like electricity costs.....everything will be thrown at it. But it's just kicking the inevitable down the road. Your kids, and my kids, kids, can pick up the tab. Australia needs to have a hard look at itself in the mirror.
