Yes the Omicron varient will cause all markets to drop to a degree. Depending on the science reseach on effectiveness of current vaccines or the time to develop a newer booster, the markets including CBA will recover. Good timing to replace the shares sold off in the share buyback. From memory it got to $57 with the initial drop from the first round of covid, so this time around with much more scientic knowledge together with funding for vaccine development I doubt it will get near $57, but could easily go to $70 or $80 depending on the amount of fear. It could also be over in week and just a bump along the way.
