We need to let weak companies die (no CB bailouts period), the exuberant lose their shirts and those careful enough not to get into the euphoria to flourish in the aftermath. Booms, busts, expansions and recessions is like death and rebirth. In a complex system like the market it is as plain and simple as nature running it's course. The added benefit LT is that people end up learning their lessons (intergenerational lessons in fact) without CB safety net and results in a stronger market and economies because of strong companies and individual balance sheets there in... much like Darwinian evolution.
