hi mate.. The CBAMOA warrant is on 1 for 1 ratio to cba shares.. The warrant lets you buy a CBA share for $50. So I got the warrants for $9 when cba was $59..
Now CBA is $72 the warrants are worth $$22
($72-$50=$22)
Say CBA goes to $80 in July/Aug , the warrants CBAMOA will be worth $30 (80-50=30).
So i am thankful it has been a massive gain.
but yeah,, CBA $56 was the stop loss..if CBA had dropped to $56 I would lost 50% ,, if not more.
So it was quite a risky trade at the time. lol
CBAMOA warrants expire 2029.. So in theory I could hold them for another 9 years..
simplisticly Say CBA was $120 per share in 2024. CBAMOA would be $70 each..
But yeah,, its a little bit more complicated than that..
The warrants get a slight adjustment every week,, of about 0.2% , so ,, say CBA was still $72 in 6 months,, The warrants maybe worth about $20, instead of the current $22 . Time decay of value..
hope this helps?
dyor. thanks
