Someone above made a comment that IOU was getting into the Philippines so I think the post has some significant relevance to the hurdles any fintech will have trying to take on the Philippines and the stronghold that another new startup has. Lots of money to be made in the Philippines, huge addressable market, but IOU are not there. Maybe one day but certainly well behind the 8 ball. We know who does have that market though and they are doing quite well. Will be an interesting Friday and next week.
