All whilst the politicians are jumping up & down, bleating "Oh! we need to do something about those massive bank profits", Federal Treasury will be getting a nice 2 billion odd dollars in company tax from the Westpac's gross profits. Not to mention the miriard of taxes that governments (of all levels) charge bank customers for transferring money from one entity to another.
Whom are the real Vultures ?
Get real people, it's like a broken record playing the same groove over and over. Every time the banks make a profit the media and politicians start bleating out the rhetoric.
