It seems clear to me as to why CBA got out and back in - access to information. Not from AVM mind you - but they would have made sure they had someone in place to alert them to the outcome of the review as early as possible. They knew what was coming and knew what to do.
Buying back in suggests they have confidence in the eventual outcome - and in the mean time make several more million from those poor saps who don't have the same significant resources to access such info. Hate the CBA - but if I were to buy a managed investment that's where I'd go!!!
Had to laugh - wiping $106,000 off the portfolio didn't even faze the old girl when I told her - she's developed the AVM resilience.
