Financial Review : Summary In Sept last year it was fined $700,000 by Australian Securities and Investment Commission because of two infringement notices handed out by the Markets Disciplinary Panel(MDP) The infringement notice issued with the fine revealed that CommSec was a serial offender. It lifted the lid on a culture of non-compliance gong back almost eight years. It was the 5th occasion not complied with Market Integrity Rules. Then there was the financial planning scandal.
