Interesting trading today. Got out on the open (for a modest return) and waited for a re-entry point. Around lunchtime some large trades pushed it up, up and up. It never looked back.
This looked like it dragged the other banks up esp ANZ which was in the red for the best pt of the day and powered back late for a good 2.89% gain on the day (or a 3.2% turnaround )
As mentioned by Robbbb, there is good trading for those patient enough to watch what is happening during the day on the financials.
Still down on the year (RIO killed me), but coming back slowly.
