It will fall on rotation by funds as evident across the globe -- funds are moving out of banks... bank yeilds have almost become irrelevant for the savvy investor will steer away from low growth/high yielding companies -some companies are beginning to yield 7%-10% with a p/e under 10 or so and theyre still falling !!.. Investors are cashed-up for a cyclically 'high beta' environment, i.e TMT's. but, I don't think we will get it with the current economic data and political data - the folks in US congress, aint good for the DOW. There is a bounce due on CBA, but overall ya gotta look at where the money flow is going..
