I've set up a future payment on Commsec banking for the BPay payment to be made on the 11/3. That way I can accumulate interest right up until the last minute and I don't have to worry about missing the boat because the payment is made automatically! Love this internet banking!
I sold 156 CBA shares (reluctantly!) late last year to put towards a mortgage deposit @ $41. Now is my chance to buy them some of them back at a good price, brokerage fee.
If you can't beat the banks, join them, and what better bank to buy into than the one you pay mortgage interest to!
