Regarding my paying tax, I had organised my finances so that the majority of my shareholdings were in my SMSF & now, having sold about half my holding in CBA & utilised the cash to pay me the necessary allocated pension, which has escalated to a ridiculous figure, I will not be paying tax on the interest as it will be under the threshold.
